Recommendations for cribbox....

HAVe some lovely new post and rail fencing and am looking for the best cribbox type paint to put on....preferably spray or brush on, tehre seems to be lots of different brands available.

I have tried Cribbox (filthy stuff, a pain to apply as it's so sticky) and McNasty (comes in a spray bottle, got in my eyes/mouth, didn't deter the cribber)
A strand of electric rope attached near the top on the posts was the most effective thing

I bought some Nettex anti crib gel to put on my horse's rug to stop the other one biting his bum and ripping it. It seems to work although does wash off in the rain.

This, except I use electric string instead of rope.

Thanks, I have wire above he rails but want to add a bit more protection so looking for something to paint on as well.
