Sorry quite similar to previous post by Law but got me thinking as I fancy buying some flatwork boots/wraps, preferably in white (only ever had black but I think my girl would look fab in white ones!) Any recommendations for good value, durable, and (most importantly given the colour!) easy-clean & dry wraps/boots please? I was looking at the Equilibrium flatwork wraps (I like the Stretch & Flex ones but too expensive

Also what is the advantage of using wraps versus boots for flatwork please? Is it just that they are more flexible/breathable?

thanks!

Hmm I was planning some shopping too

I have equillibrium tri zone brushing boots and I like them a lot.
Friend has the stretch and flex ones schooling wraps and i've noticed the hinds slip on her horse

Might not be the boots tho, no idea.
Other friend has Woof Wear brushing boots and they look great and seem to have lasted well.

I really like the eskadron climatex bandages or the John Whitaker ones.

Have opted to just get another pair of tri zone brushing boots (I have odd coloured ones and want them to match

I know it's bad, I'm a bit of a shoe addict so buying boots for Missie is like going shoe-shopping...

I have quite a few pairs of Woof Wear brushing boots, all getting a little old now but they have really lasted well. I do find though that they take ages to dry out when they get wet! Not that that would be so much of an issue if they were just being used in the arena I suppose.

I'll have a look at the eskadron, john whitaker and tri zone ones as I haven't looked at those - thanks!

I use the stretch and flex boots and love them so much, I have had them around 3 years now and they still look new when they have been washed! my horse never sweats under them and the are so flexible and dont restrict him!
I Highly recommend!
Im saving up for the wraps for my new horse

P.S I also have the tri zone boots as well and they are really good as well! i use the stretch and flex for one of my horses because the tri zone dont fit my cob

Welshiwhiskas ........ snap! I've had mine for three years too, and yes they've washed well (with curtain whitener) and they're still white, they dont slip and they've been well worth the money, I use them every day at home, and for warming up at dressage.

If you don't need the wrap-style Equilibrium Training Wraps (the £50 ones) go for the Flatwork wraps (£35 ish), my YO uses them and they are fab, really easy to put on and off, cover all the right bits, and best of all the horses just don't sweat in them! Well worth it IMO.

Kitt do fab wraps - 19.99 for 4 and i use then really regually and they are lovely. just google Kitt equestrian

also shires do a wrap boot that is very reasonable and i use then in front and brushing boots behind.
Barnstomers is a good place to look for the shires ones as they are cheap
