I've currently got a pair of Mountain Horse Stirling boots and Xcellsior gaiters and have had them for 2 years. The boots are absolutely fab, really comfy, but since I bought the gaiters (at the same time as the boots) my legs seem to have got a bit thinner and the gaiters have also stretched.

It's my birthday soon and I'm thinking of asking for some new gaiters, or maybe even some long boots if I find the right pair. I've got a budget of about £150. I've got quite short, thin calves and if I were to buy long boots they would have to fit perfectly!!

If anybody has any recommendations for gaiters that I could wear with the short boots I've got now, or new long boots I'd be grateful if you could share

I just got the Mountain Horse Ranger leggings, they're soooo comfy, they've got an elasticated bit all the way down so they're really snug and they look pretty smart. They were £80 but you can get them for £70 at Derby House.
I wear them over Dublin Advance short boots (got the zip up the front but its covered nicely by the leggings) which were £50 and are really comfortable as well, didnt need any wearing in! (no blisters for me!). They go together well too.

I LOVE my Ariat field boots!!! I have back problems and they are so comfy.
Good luck trying to get the long boots here in the UK though. I bought mine on the US Ebay for £60 plus shipping which is a bargoon as they are usually £375 here. You may have an easier time getting the paddock boots and gaitors. They do make slim leg sizes too.
