Firstly, apologies if I spelt any words in the title wrong :o

Secondly, can someone please recommend a brand of welly/muck boot that wont split and leave my feet soaking and cold?! With all this rain I seem to be spending an increasing amount of time ankle deep in mud and puddles, so would like some boots that keep my tootsies warm! My hunters are about as useless as a chocolate teapot and my HKM country boots have just started letting in water too :(

I'm not particularly fashion conscious (or rich!) so I wouldn't suggest Ariats or the like as I wouldn't be able to afford them :o:o:D

So any ideas for cheap & cheerful muckers?!

Minstrels for all :)

I bought a pair 6 weeks ago that have been great on icy yard and in snow, have fleece lining and are really light not heavy like some muck boots.

The tab on them says 'woof wear', but not sure of make! If you want I can pm where I bought them, they do have a web site.

Good luck in finding a pair, I have developed a dislike to most makes, due to the fact they can't cope with being worn.. just abouts to resign a pair to the bun as they're falling apart inside, and have a small lead.. have ordered another pair (different make) through Ebay, wonders how long they'll last..

I used to be able to buy really cheap muck boots for around £19 a pair and they lasted forever. The supply dried up and I had to spend more and more and every pair since the sole has ripped off from the heel. Utter rubbish.

I have a pair from aldi that cost less than twenty quid and have amazing grip on snow whilst being reasonably warm and waterproof. I bought them last year though........

Maybe try the army stores for some work boots or farmer style wellies.

I have a pair of short woof wear muckers and they are good. i also find if you wash your boots when you finish at the yard or mucking out they last a lot longer. It washes out all the Amonia. I had some Robbies ones they were rubbish lasted a month!!
