What do you all feed or recommend for a fibre to help promote condition and weight gain without heating the horse up?

I've got a 5 year old TB that's looking so much better than he did in the winter but id still like a bit more weight on him he's still a little ribby but got the tendancy to heat up.

He's not on hard feed as he's not doing the hard work so he's just fed a fibre (I've run out and need more which is why I'm intrigued to see what you all use) and a daily balancer and he's doing really well on it. (He was previously on just adlib hay and grass as was only lightly working)

Allen and Page Fast fibre mixed with a grass chaff (readigrass, D&H Just Grass etc)...

Worked for our loan pony who was elderly and toothless all last winter..

And it didn't hot up the others either, as we put them all on the same to save buying umpteen bags of different stuff.

You could had micronize linseed for weight gain

I used topspec fibre plus cubes and he was on 5 feeds a day to gain weight and now he's maintaining on half that amount.

Took 2 months to get the to the required weight he was also on their senior lite balancer
