I am going to start using a saddle cloth and half pad on my boy as he has quite a wide seat to his jumping saddle and i find the numnahs often arent wide enough across and start to rub.
Can anyone recommend a make of everyday saddle cloth for a high withered horse in just plain colours, (no fancy braiding!)

I know Griffin do them but would really like a cheaper option so i can buy a couple

Polypads are normally a good option but I have to have the dressage version even on my jumping saddle as I found the normal ones were too short for my boy but he is 17.3 and you get the extra padding instead of using a seperate half pad

I've found that Bartl do some really great saddle cloths, & they suit the high withered horse I have. They don't just do the expensive sheepskin ones, they also do the unlined ones. They are shaped well to fit the high wither that you mention & are real quality.

I have purchased from this seller & the service has been really good....take a look:

I've tried a few different numnahs/saddlecloths for my high withered pony but still keep coming back to Nuumed. I think the everyday ones at just over £20 are good value for money. Have a look on ebay for a good second hand one. I also bought one half price at Badminton last year - look out for special offers.

Or you could be lucky like me and have a friend that bought hi-withered in error and sold it to me for a fiver
