Depends on budget. There are some wonderful options out there. Dressage is still fairly traditionla - if more blingy. SJ - anything goes! Why not treat yourself to a horse show day out and see what is out there?
breeches-La Valencio....nice designs and not mega £££
jacket-Animo if you want to splash out or if on more of a budget try Harcour as they are nice and stretchy and fitted or Horka do very good softshell show jackets
If you get a tweed jacket you can do both dressage and SJ in it. I event so it works for me. I'm a bit old for dressage bling and white jods so prefer cream, fawn, beige.
Some fabulously stylish jackets around nowadays in light weight/ breathable/stretch materials. Saw some really lightweight pikeur ones this summer in a sort of technial waffle material. Looked so much more comfortable for warm weather than jackets of old. And, if you have the figure, breeches in lovely light stretchy materials - riding tight style. Everything more blingy than previously.
