Please can anybody recommend any yard boots that are also suitable for riding. i'm currently having to use my leather riding boots which cost far too much to be using up at the yard. i bought some of the muckboots which are great for the yard but find them difficult to ride in as they are quite stiff around the ankle. i've been looking at the Mark Todd country boots as a possible alternative but would appreciate any suggestions.

many Thanks x x:)

I've got some fab mudrucker long boots. They are lined so they're great for cold weather, waterproof, tough enough for general yard duties (and dog walks - naughty me!) and flexible enough to ride in and they don't cost an arm and a leg either. I was lucky to get a freebie pair from my mum who bought them then realised they were too small for her :D Although not sure what i'm going to do when it comes into the warm weather, my legs'll probably boil :(

I've got rimfrost rider boots they are comfy for wearing around the yard and waterproof. They also keep your feet warm when you are riding. However the zips have a habit of breaking and I had to return mine to mountain horse shortly after having them for replacement zips ( at my cost)

I had the rim frost which were great but now have the mark Todd ones which are even better! super warm, and so practical, just hose off. So far pretty hard wearing too. You will be happy with either but shop around for a good price got both pairs less than seventy pounds.

Seconded. I haven't yet put any waterproofer on mine (only had them a few weeks) but they are so far leakproof, and extremely comfy. I find them excellent to ride in.
