I'm looking for a nice GP saddle with big squishy knee rolls. My big, dopey warmblood can put the odd sideways spook in when we are out hacking, and I need a saddle with big knee rolls so you can squish your knee into if needed. lol

I currently ride him in an Albion K2 GP which has good knee rolls, but I find the seat tips me forward. (have adjusted the flocking too, but still tips me forward). So,my Albion has to be sold.

Any ideas please?

Rachel Bayliss saddle if you are anywhere near Cheshire, made to order only. Great big squishy knee rolls. Very high quality saddles.

I sell saddles and had to go an buy a second hand Rachel bayliss with the big knee rolls for hunting.. I certainly wouldnt have stayed on without it.

Try Matt at Heritage - will make whatever you want! Very good price for very good quality and all made to measure.

Agree with above. Matt makes saddles to measure and made my elderly TB one last year, after I had tried nearly every other saddle going - comfiest saddle ever and he makes it to your specifications - I wanted longer flaps, so he did that for me and get choice of the finish of the leather or suede. He does come across as a bit abrupt if you meet him, but he does know his stuff.
I'm wanting one for my new horse, but going to have to save up first!

The Albion K2 GP tips me forwards too! I have read other posts in the past where people have mentioned this.

I'm currently riding everyday in my jump saddle (it's an Albion K2 Jump saddle), because my horse can be a s**t and I need all the help I can to stay on when he flings me about. I also loved the Stubben Scandica. I felt really secure in that, but the K2 jump saddle has been custom made for my horse, so I only use that now.

Once (or if) my horse becomes sane enough to take to dressage competitons I'll get a dressage saddle for him, but tbh I feel safest in the jump saddle so I will stay with that for as long as possible.
