Decided to bring my grooming kit home to clean it all and realised everything is now so old I'd be better off replacing most of it! If anyone has recommendations for particularly good quality/ effective brushes or other bits and pieces, would appreciate it - long time since I bought grooming kit so not sure if there is new stuff/brands out there.......

I have the Oster range of brushes and I think they are brill...easy to clean, comfy to hold and they have every brush for every occasion...highly recommended. They aren't the cheapest but mine have lasted for ages.

To clean plastic brushes, just pop in to a pillowcase (knot it shut!!) and chuck in the washing machine (put a towel in or something else to stop the clanking) they come out clean and ready to use :)
