Recommendations to help a friend?

I wonder if i could pick your brains on behalf of a friend?
She's been looking for all over for a horse now for a few months and is drawing blanks on finding the right one for her.
It would be her first horse so she's looking for something that is safe and sane but not a complete plodder - and it appears these types are like gold dust!. Especially as she's looking at about the 16H+ mark.
She has ridden for a while but probably won't do anything more than hacking and schooling with a small bit of low level jumping thrown in for good measure (her words not mine!!).
She's near me in Lincoln but prepared to travel, she's so keen to find the right one.
I suggested I'd ask you all if you knew of anywhere that might specialise / have horses suitable for this type of buyer?
 
Stick in there, Find a decent, honest, priv seller who can't keep the horse for some reason other then horses fault. There are people like this with ned needing new home. Go to all local tack shops, look ads, put one up and talk to the staff they might know of any. Farriers, vets, instructors, trainers, etc. Don't have a age limit either.

She's ok to go up to £3000 - £3500 no age limit that I'm aware of.
She's 5ft 6" (i think) and about my build so "curvy".
I've already asked at the tack shops so they're keeping an eye open. She's need something that can give her some confidence but then can do a bit more when she's ready.
I'd let her borrow Sid but he's a bit too big and having shot my confidence to bits I don't want to do it to her! [In fact it may end up I borrow anything she finds to get my confidence back so i have an alterior motive!!]
 
Well i will have a look in that price range for some safe horses but not total plods, they are hard to come by i know i cant find one, Well i dont mind the quirks etc but the horses i want are like 8 grand, Tut i shouldnt look anyway im just swapping mine.
