Hi all!

I'm looking to invest in some travel boots for my TB, he's 17.1, long fine legs, who travels well. Hoping to get him out next year and would love to get him some boots.

Any recommendations welcome!

I have been very pleased with Premier Equine ones. THey have been remarkably long lasting and the elastic in the tabs makes them very easy to fit snugly.

Another vote for the mark todd travel boots. They fit my 16.hh tb perfectly and they wash really well. I have also had weatherbeeta boots as well and would recommend these for a TB as well.

After several addling disasters in the trailer and the boots slipping and not making a JOT of difference Im no popping on fleece bandages, gamgee and over reach boots.

Yes might seem time consuming but having had too many bad injuries DESPITE expensive thick travel boots I wont be wating my money again. Havent had a problem since I changed.

I struggled a lot with my TB & travel boots. Horsewear were good but faffy as lots of straps. Premier equine were huuuuge & slipped virtually off him. I resorted to turn out boots but they made his legs too hot. I've also used thermatex wraps & used to bandage quite a lot. Finally I got a pair of brand new polypad travel
boots off eBay for £10 & they're a perfect fit. I often just travel him to places in over reach boots & whatever boots he'll work in & then use travel boots on way back & I still tend to bandage on very long journeys.
