*recommended equine stabling manufacturers???*

I have a CHART stable and our local farmer thinks its really well built. The only thing I dont like and it is about 9 years old is ONDULINE roofing, it is rubbish. It is fine if well strutted(I have it on chicken runs too..it sags and is not robust). The Chart onduline roof is well strutted and onduline was all the rage with long life when I got mine but I would definitely go for a tin roof or tiled if you can afford it. But I am very pleased with mine and communication was very good.

We bought stables, hay barn with tack room and a field shelter from JWS (Jon Williams Stables I think they are called) last year and have been really pleased. Extremely well made, great service, built on site and have had no problems. I also have an American Barn by Chart and whilst good it just doesn't have the same feeling of strength offered by the JWS buildings.

I saw them at Badminton Horse Trials last year, they had a field shelter on display. Have various offers on during the year. I think they are based Gloucester direction or Wiltshire. South West anyway!

Hope that helps.

My friends' just bought stables, a feed room and hay barn from Passmores. I had a nosey round them the other day - lush!

Really well made. I loved the generous lined overhang, so the horses can stand outside in the rain and not get wet. Grill in between the stables so the horses can see each other etc.

Puts my 'knocked together' effort to shame!
