Got a bright but very green 8 yr old IDx with very independant thoughts but a willingness to learn. Does have a tendency to try out anyone new (definitely a boundary tester). Need to find a decent and patient instructor/trainer - not sure how he'd be with men as pretty much only ever been dealt with by females and I backed him

- think anyone with overbearing and bossy tendencies could possibly end up on the deck (at 17.2 it's a tad painful

). Appreciate your thoughts and recommendations!

I regretably sent my horse off to be broken and schooled by Natalie Banks and I personally will NOT recomend her to train anyone elses horses due to my bad experience. I cant comment on her as a riding instructor though, as I have not used her for that service. Have a look on Biggleswade saddlery website they have trainers advertised. Nick Turner is very good and worth every penny.

SassieSoz, whereabouts in Bedfordshire are you?
I am a BHS II (registered and insured) near jnc 9 of the M1. Can't really give a 'personal reccomendaion' to myself

but my forte is flatwork and I am used to 'big lads'. Not sure if you are able to PM me or if you are waaaay over t'other side of Beds

Belinda Skipper Clophill.Don't know if she gives lessons but seeing her out hacking on her dressage horses, they are enjoying themselves and a pleasure to watch even her big Grand Prix horse.
