Recommended transporters

I thought I had this sorted, but may need to re-think! Is anyone able to recommend me a good, professional transporter who would be able to move two small horses from one end of the country to another? Ideally in a 3.5T truck as the don't travel well sideways and need to be facing either forwards or backwards.

Eric Gillies have a nice 3.5t van so might be worth contacting them.

Just a quick tip after my friend had an awful day with her transport company.

Friend had 2 of her big ponies booked in with a transport company, they assured her weights wasn’t a problem. On the day of her house move, after checking relevant paperwork found out they would have been overweight in the equitrek 3.5 van.

Frightening thing is the company were more than happy to travel them. Friend hired a lorry instead.

Gillies for sure….they ve moved mine when it’s been long trips and I’ve never had a problem and my horses have always come off chilled out and happy.

I’ll give another recommendation for Gillies. They moved one of my ponies from Aberdeen to Staffordshire in comfort, then later took him back to Aberdeen 18months later, this time with another pony and a 17hh horse. They would be my first choice for any move.
