It's a very long story, but after a mysterious phone call, Dotty was found in the Bournemouth/Poole area. She was very well hidden on some common land. the person who helped me claimed to have removed her from where the Gypsies keep their horses!! Feel I was extremely lucky, and still can't really believe my luck in getting her back. She was tethered and judging from the rope burns on her legs, had been for some time. Don't suppose I will ever know what really happened, but do know for sure that they had ridden her there, as her poor feet are so sore. The time she was missing and that afternoon getting her back is not something I want to go through again.

That's wonderful news. I was delighted to see "Found" written on her "Lost" poster at the Paddock Pantry yesterday. Steve confirmed you'd found her. What fantastic news. Congratulations.

My advise is "never give up hope", but remember that it is you that will need to do the detective work. Getting my Dotty back was I think a lot of luck, and certainly no help from the Police at all!!

This is brilliant news and I am really pleased for you. You have been very lucky, and so has your horse.

I will never stop looking for my boy, and pray I find him as you will understand, its sickening not knowing where they are.

Joyce95 - I am so glad you have your horse back.
Tubbytoby - had a look at your past posts, but haven't seen your boy...he definitely hasn't passed through the yard where I livery in the past three years (two dealers there). Sorry.

Brilliant news for you and Dotty, you must be so relieved.. Really hope the other horses who have been taken from their owners can have a bit of their own good luck too and be reunited with their people X
