Our old lurcher had this surgery about 5 years ago. Although the recovery is slow, she bounced back to her normal lunatic self. Good luck to yours.

thanx. did you take yours for hydrotherapy?

No I didn't as there wasn't anywhere particularly local. But we did the months of walking on a lead etc, and once she was off the lead, although I cringed to see her crashing through bracken etc, she was absolutely fine. When she started to get older and stiffer, it was not related to the TPLO at all.

if we get technical she is 1/12th collie 1/16th staffy and the rest is collie
