I have a load of broken and bent electric fence posts (the plastic ones with the metal prong on the end) and I was wondering what you all do with yours? I don't think the local recycling centre will take them as they're very twitchy about 'agricultural waste'. I tried to take some old horse rugs there once and they wouldn't accept them. There are rather a lot of them building up so I'm wondering how to dispose of them!

If you mean bent as in the prongs are bent, you can straighten them using the holes in a drain cover (I have storm drains on my yard, and the covers have holes that are exactly the right size!). You put the prong in the hole, and lean gently until they straighten up.

Brilliant! I will go looking for some drains with holes in. I must have about 20 bent posts - git horse kicks them and bends the pin!
Thanks everyone!
