Has anyone used this in the past for an under-the-weather horse? My friend's horse is rather lethargic and dull, and Red Cell has been suggested as a tonic - can anyone recommend?

It's fantastic stuff. I used it last year on my mum's mare, she was very lethargic, and down whilst her coat was changing. She perked up after a couple of days on red cell.

i use red cell on my hunter as he seems to lack something from time to time, his coat goes a little dull and he doesnt seem to have that sparkle that he normally has and a few days an red cell and he seems a lot better

I used it a couple of years ago when my mare got very low while changing her coat in the spring..i loved the outcome, only problem for me is that none of my local tack shops stocks it.....So if anoyone knows a website that sells it ???

I've just seen it on one of the ebay shops.....

Propell plus is very similar to red cell, and might be easier for you to get hold of locally

I have used it before and think it works quite well for certain horses. You are probably best talking to your vet and see if there is anything which they advise? Our vet has told us about some very good supplements which are a little bit more expensive but definately work.
