Looking into buying some of this for my barefooters to help protect against infections in this yucky wet weather. Has anyone used it?

I've also seen Red Horse Hoof Stuff and as I have a horse with an abcess I'm struggling with at the moment wondering whether I should invest in this too. Your thoughts please?

They are great products. By sole paint I am thinking you mean field paste. It's great for keeping fungal and bacterial infection away, and it smells fantastic - very medicated, I think it's the tea tree! It helps harden up the soles too.

I also use Arti-Mud for plugging small holes especially in the white line, and each side of the frog.

Hoof stuff is quite tricky to use, but can be very useful for bigger holes as it stays in and keeps a hole clean and fights infection. I got through quite a lot of hoof stuff and artimud when my horse had some very bad white line disease last year. It helped to keep the hole clean while it grew out.

These 3 products are definitely worth having, but if you are on a livery yard, you will find when everyone sees how useful they are, they will want to borrow them!

I've just had my Field Patse arrive for my horse and can confirm it smells lovely!! Was suggested to me by a barefoot professional so I'm really hopeful that it'll work. Was quick delivery and cheap postage too. Very impressed. :)
