Red lab pic

Having not taken any pics since he was a pup, I thought I ought to get some snaps of Bob, my OH's red lab.
In most he was pulling silly faces but I did get this one which is quite nice.

Wow, he is lovely. I'd never heard of red labs before the recent post, I take it they are quite rare.

I was just looking at pics of Finn that I took last week (Got to upload them yet) but he looks massive!!!

How heavy is Ki hun? (Just wondering as Finn seems to be increasing daily still!! LOL!)

Will try and get some nice pics the next time we have some decent weather, I'll chuck him out in the field and take loads - hopefully get at least one decent one of him. I've got loads of sleepy Ki pics on my camera at the moment - they are the easiest to get!!

He was last weighed about 6 months ago and was 8 stone, I would doubt he has changed from this. He measures 27" at the wither and his neck measures 22".

Finn looks like he will be bigger but it is hard to tell cos I think Finn is a little thicker set than Ki. Don't know about you but I have seen so many different shaped Ridgebacks - from labrador-like-Ridgies to Great-Dane-alikes. I was told that this is because the breed is fairly new?!. Once took Ki to the vet and he had just spent a few years working in Africa and told me that over there they are 3 times the size (hard to believe I know - you could saddle them).

I think I'm going to measure him - he is massively bum high again at the mo (It even out but again he is sprouting upwards AND outwards!!)

Yes I have seen some really spindelly ones and then some thicker ones... I loves my Finny and he is the perfect 'stamp' of RR for me!!

same here, he was such a photgenic puppy but now he looks all saggy and dopey in photos it's really hard to get a true likeness - perhaps I'll post some puppy pics lol.
