We used Red Mills where I worked in Ireland. I must say all the horses looked well on it and were only fed either 14% Racehorse cubes or 10% Cool Cubes depending on their workload. I did get a few bags last year here in the UK but it was just so expensive. I switched to Falcon feed and can't rate them enough. The horses look great and are very trainable.

If you phone Redmills they will send a rep out and talk you through their feeds, they are very helpfull and I cant fault the feed as I say it was just the cost.

Most of my yard (including me) is feeding it to our horses .. A lot of ex racers, racers, ponies and the natives are on it .. We have ours on the cool n cooked and my mare loves it! She used to be on Allen and page calm and condition but this cool n cooked is working so well at keeping her condition on and no way does it make them fizzy like I thought that it would! Great stuff :)

thanks we have just got a stockist near us who talks as if thyre the best feed since sliced bread
I like to kieep feeding simple and the welshie who is now looking fab is fed 28lbs hay a day split into 4 steamed feedings
half a stubs scoop of fast fibre and 1 stubbs scoop of leighs senior chaff he was scrawny and is still maturing but his coat always seems to be scurfy I have added 1 mug of red mills cool cubes to his feed for the past 3 weeks and his coat seems to have improved with a brilliant shine and virtually no scurf
he is about 15.2 6yrs 445kgs on the tape an looks good in light hacking work but can get silly
so shall i keep feeding this or change his diet completely?

the other lad is a 15hh 15yrs comes in at 532kg on the tape but has dropped from 560kgs gypsy cob currently fat on a diet he however is incredibly itchy was thinking sweetitch is in a pagony has been for 2 months with no change but was itchy last year and into the winter but not half as bad
he is fed 25lbs of hay fed in 4 lots a measured amount of 300g of chaff and 1 mug fast fibre (not sure if this may be causing the itch) and also in light to medium work
both are barefoot but currently stabled full time at the minute due to no grass
so what would you give each of them or change ?
