So far our 3yr old has been to a couple of shows and we are very pleased with her, done about 6 in hand classes in total.
However on 2 occasions she has lifted her bum at the horse behind her. Not kicked out properly just lifted her bum at them. Both these times have been because another horse was inches from her back end. The first time was when a much bigger horse followed very very close to her and in the end she had just had enough of it. The second was in a lap of honner, when again a bigger horse than her ran up her bum when trotting.
I would never run up behind another horse that close so it makes me mad when other people do it. Is this the norm? And the big question, do you think she should wear a red ribbon.
By the way she never shows any signs of nastyness to other horses in general, weather in field or if the pass very close in front of her, its just when they run up her bum and she cant see them.
