I had a gorgeous mare who was unfortunately killed in a traffic accident a few years ago. She was absolutely stunning and a lovely stamp. However I never knew what her bloodlines were and as I'm now looking for a new horse it would be nice to know so I can keep my eyes open for anything with similar bloodlines. She was called Redhill Lady H and from what I can remember she was bought from essex I think by the people we bought her off. Any help greatly apprectiated.

Do you know how old she was? There's a Redhill Lady H listed in NED - unusual name so possibly the same. She was AES - born 1994, dark bay, by Odessit ex Redhill Hickory. Odessit had very modest BSJA winnings - was by Ogina ex Tantal

There are quite a few horses listed with the Redhill prefix - the only Redhill Stud I can find is in Telford, Shropshire - whether it's the same????

There are several breeders with the Redhill Prefix registered - the most likely candidate for your horse (excluding Shetland breeders etc.) would be Mr. & Mrs. J. Milne - but can't find anything else about them.

I know this thread is old but just googling some names as I've got a 5yo up for sale whose damsire is Odessit.

Checked out the link on NED and they have the sire and dam mixed up!?!?

The dam is Ogina by Gepatit and the sire is Tantal by Topol.

On our mares AES passport three of the names are spelled wrong, Tantal is down as Tamtal and his dam Teorema is spelt wrong as Tedtena..Oginas dam is also spelt wrong.

They are all Russian Trakehners and easy to find once I realised the correct spelling...just can't believe a breed passport would have names spelt wrong! or NED would have sire and dam mixed up!
