My dad told me I was the bairn he had to worry about the least as a teenager as he knew I wouldn’t be far away for sorting the pony every morning and night and she kept me from any real mischief.
But he also never payed a single penny towards her thanks to my bestest granny.
 
My 1st thought was that you'd have thought she'd learn not to have a grey after the grey pony 🤣

My 2nd was that, looking at the last part, the Le Mieux pony and kit wouldn't have been sold when she was the age of the 1st one!

That’s such a sweet advert, it’s definitely the way it goes for many of us.

I notice they don’t show the parents lamenting their life choices though! 🤣

I suspect my parents were doomed from the moment I watched my first Grand National, if not, from the moment I was born… 🤣

Not to mention hearing my mother’s dreamy stories about her and her horse of a lifetime, and how said horse used to think it was funny to step on my father’s foot 🤣
