Hi all,

My mare is on the road to recovery after suffering a kick to the head which incurred 17 staples :( her staples are now out and the wound s healing nicely :) however i am interested in fiding a product to reduce scarring/encourage hair regrowth? she also has 2 big grazes on her head which are also healing nicely but i would also like to promote healthy hair growth in the area. I have both bio oil (for stretch marks) and cornucresine but havent used either yat as im interested to know what products would work the best. Also what time is the best to apply? should i start now or wait a little longer?.....

I swear by megatek - I use it regularly on my cob to keep his hair in perfect condition, super for rubs and also grazes. I used it myself when recovering from chemo.

It is safe to use on scars etc and you need to massage every day - I am doing this myself at the moment as getting over surgery but I am using E45 cream as I don't need hair on my boobs and belly:D

A few years ago 2 weeks before a major championship, Stinky came in with a big graze down his face, all hair remove and top layer of skin gone. I gently rubbed megatek in every day and on the day of the show there was no mark left.

It is kind to skin and smells great and you will also get great nails from using it.

I get my supply from tailgator.co.uk

Cornucresince works. Not on open wounds though.

TF are you using vitamin E on your scars? Works a treat, it's what's in BioOil.
