Oh and one of the donkeys rescued is in foal. Thelady I spoke to said something along the lines of 'a new life out of all the death'.

Do they have any big horses as all I have is 7ft rugs which fit very few horses

I don't know, I only have spare tiddly rugs so didn't ask about bigger ones (sorry) but it looked like all sizes of animals were rescued from the pics I have seen

If you go on the Horse Trust website, they have some large horses not related to this case, but I bet they would like some. Just a thought.

I have a 6 3 stable rug that is no use to me (if someone can get it as i can't deliver) if it is of any use to the charity.

A thought - I have 4 acres of land and only one horse - plus three spare stables. I am so angry about it all and would love to help somehow - but I live in Northumberland. I assume that whilst the prosecution proceeds the horses/pnies and donkeys will need to stay in a refuge. Is that correct?

When I asked ILPH they said they will only accept rugs that are still in the bag after being washed / repaired and re-proofed in case of any infection ?
