Other than Equitreks, are there any trailers out there that allow horses to travel facing backwards?

My boy's never been a great traveller but he's ok as long as I take it slowly. We had a lift on my friend's Equitrek last week and he travelled perfectly - then back on my trailer last night and he was worse than ever!

I don't really want a trailer the size (or the price!) of an Equitrek and never go anywhere for long enough so that I'd need a living area but I was wondering if there are any other, less luxurious types out there that allow them to travel backwards?

Weight isn't that much of an issue as I tow with a Discovery and rarely take more than one.

there is a richardson that has rear facing, have a look on the richardson rice website,

or the equi trek trail treka that is like a rear facing ifor however i would never have an equitrek too many worrying stories and rubbish aftercare.

i had my heart set on a space treka but bought a new ifor 506 instead its so much better

Oh how spooky - just been out to my local animal feed shop and as always I take a peek at the advert board and there was a Richardson rear facing trailer with side ramp for sale on their board and thought "you dont see many of them" - come back home and saw your thread!! Can't remember many details but it was about £2K and we are in Essex, if you want more details I can tell you the name of the feed shop....

Thanks. I'm in Cardiff so it might be a bit far but there don't seem to be many around so I may have to. I have friends in Purfleet who had a baby yesterday so will have to go and visit them soon anyway! Two birds, one stone! Even if you're the other side of Essex it's a damn sight closer than Cardiff is! If you could tell me the shop that would be great, I might give them a ring and see if they can read the advert to me over the phone!
