Well for those you gave me words of encouragement for my first lesson on my youngster that never happened on Tuesday, my trainer forgot me!.

I had a fantastic lesson earlier today, was still getting myself in a tizz but boy he worked he socks off and my trainer who doesn't give praise out unless earned was really pleased and thinks that I have picked myself up a really nice horse who with a lot of careful work will be something quite special.

So feeling on a mega high, off for a nice shower as I look like a beetroot, and looking forward to a lesson lunging and long reining on wednesday and back to my instructer on Friday. Can't wait

Well done. It's a great feeling isn't it? I have just come back from a really positive lesson as well and I have a spring in my step

Thanks everyone, yes will definately keep it up, just makes you feel more positive about your new horse when your lesson esp the first goes well doesn't it.

I know I'll have bad days but knowing and feeling what he can be like will give me something to hold on to when the wobbles appear.

And to top it all , the inlaws have offered to have the herbs tonight, so me and OH can go out, yippee!
 
Fantastic Daisy well done. Huge achievement! You should feel very very pleased with yourself.

Soon if the wobbles start, you can breathe and relax and the wobbles will disappear and eventually wont happen at all. Positive thinking!!

Its great that your horse did well too, all your hard work is paying off.

hb6- Thanks it could well have been the large barcardi I had before hand. Seriously I didn't have time to be nervous we cracked on as soon as he was warmed up and it was just brill.

And yes will have a great night, as much as I love my boys its great knowing that we have a night off and a morning too, albeit OH working all weekend.
