reflective/hi vis gear

Ive got some hi-vis dog/horse gear in storage but it hasn't actually got any reflective strips - has anyone here bought some and sewn them on themselves?

Ive been having a look on ebay but I dont know what to actually buy - its just showing me reflective sellotape or strips of what looks like just brightly coloured fabric. Its hard to tell whats genuine stuff!

So has anyone bought some before, and if so please point me in the right direction!

Just a thought, but I bought some reflective bumper tape from halfords to sew onto my horses rugs so I could find them in the dark! How about something like that?

I've used this type of reflective tape before in yellow. It's easy to sew and very reflective.

I found orange and white/silver on ebay.
