refund on BD horse registration?

Does anyone know if I can get some money back on my horse's BD registration? He has done one show since I renewed it but it now looks like he will have to be retired or turned away for the rest of the year so I will not be using it. Do you think they would give me some of the money back?

I should think if you get a letter from your vet they would refund it. Id give registrations a call and ask x

I wanted to when Grace was out of action... we have only used her BD membership from May to October

i did this a few years ago, reg'd my mare in 2002 but never got to do a comp as she broke down shortly after registering her.!! (typical) i asked them if they could transfer it to my new horse (Andy) and they said they couldn't do that but they could give me some of my money back as i hadn't competed her and then i applied to reg Andy from scratch.. (can't remember how much i got back though!)
not sure where you would stand if you have already competed your horse...
