Refund / Transfer of BD entry fees

Just wondering if venues allowed you to do this if you couldn't get to a show.

You can usually get a percentage back if you are early enough, but if its close to the show it would only be on production of a vets certificate. The transfer would depend on the show organiser as they are not obliged to transfer to a later show.

after the closing date of entries you wont get anything back even with a vets cert - believe me, i've tried! you might get something beforehand and some nice organisers may transfer entry but they're not under any obligation from BD to do so.

As Star said there's no obligation for the organisers to either refund or transfer entries after the closing date though alot of organisers are very good about doing so.

All of our local ones will try to help out if at all possible so it's worth explaining why you can't make it and seing what they say.

One of my local venues has not let me do this, but I had to cancel recently (at a different vanue) because of floods preventing me from getting there and they let me!
