Refunds following balloting, online BE entries?

Just wondered if anyone could tell me approx how long it takes to get a refund to my bank account when I have been ballotted, as I entered online using my debit card? Its just that I want to enter for the next one quite soon...

I always thought that they didnt take the money out until after the ballot?

Nope, they took my payment out straight away - that was for Ascott u Wychwood, entered for Cheltenham and they did the same. They did a base 1 authorisation when I entered (i.e. reserved themselves money from my bank account straight away) then took it within 2 working days

Seems to depend on the secretary. I'd email the secretary and see what she says. If you explain your situation I'm sure they will speed it up.

Thanks eddy16, you seem to be answering all my questions at the moment! I don't think entries for Berrington Hall open for another couple of days, so I'll wait a bit and see what happens
