glad she is home, she will probably sleep for the rest of the night. She will be a lot better tomorrow and will probably start putting a bit of weight on it. Just 3 months or so recuperation now and then she will be good as new.

Poor Regan, sounds like she did a proper job on it

Glad she is home okay and hope she isn't too sore. Very impressed that you could lift her, I have being lifting Buffy in and out of the car recently due to her spine problem, and my back is really suffering as a result

Sorry that it was such a mess inside her bone, wish Regan as {{{Speedy recovery}}} as possible.

About the lifting up on table [ QUOTE ]
to the surprise of my colleagues

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know if the later comes as any surprise, since my vets every know and then seems to think that I'm not capable of lifting even 12 to 20 kg dog up on their tables, I imagine they would think lifting a Rottweiler would crush me.

But I'm still impressed, not many talk about carrying a Rottweiler and only fear getting a little sore back, I've heard people with dogs in that weight class wonder if they could lift their dog at all.

Hope your OH also recovers quickly and if you let him out with them again, remind him to keep those vexatious Whippets under better control.

Thanks guys.....she is really down in the dumps....keeps looking at her leg, poor girl, she is comfortable however, she is 42kg's FLH not not exactly light....lol, Im used to carrying or at least lifting big dogs, from when I had my grooming parlour, mind over matter, also lugging bales of straw in helps, the muscles

Good luck with the rehabilitation. I know that you have been through lots of things like this with other dogs but it's always different when it's your baby

Blimey seems she must take after her 'mum', thus has an inability to do things by half!!! Hope she's more comfortable soon. Ozzie sends a big lick too. xxx
