This has only just occurred to me as in the process of updating my horses passport. He is chipped, number in the passport. Now with my dogs I had a form to say ownership had changed. Is there a body that I should contact for my horse? or simply give the details to my vet?

Horse has a full green ISR passport. Chipped and DNA tested.

Thanks!

I would have thought that he'd have a chip given out by the passporting agency in that case and telling them your address is all you need to do as they probably keep the register for their particular chips. If that makes sense?

BH has a chip that he got as a foal with Weatherby's and they look after all that stuff for me.

that does.. I have had all the forms sent through today (bit of an ouch, its £45 to register his name and change ownership)

I will check if this is the case with the chip.,
