Registering BS with no name on passport

I have a ISH mare who I’m about to register BS but she doesn’t have a name on her passport.
Am I able to use the show name I’ve been using for her in unaffiliated events or do I have to send her passport off to get her a registered name??
It’s a Irish Horse Register passport.

You should be able to make your own BS name from memory... I've registered my horse as a slightly different name to what is on his passport. When you register, they ask you for more than one show name in case your first doesn't get accepted, but I've never heard of the first name being accepted - as long as there's not already a horse with that name on the system!
