A friend of mine has just in formed me that Opposition Heracles is being graded again by sports horse GB. I was interested in him some years ago but choose not to use him for my mare as he failed his grading. (I was told that he failed on conformation and movement. Although his owner said the judges had made a mistake, which seems unlikely.) My main point is how many times can a stallion be brought forward for grading? If I am looking for a stallion and it says that it has been approved, how do I know if it passed first time or tenth? Should it be compulsory for stallions that fail the grading on conformation grounds to be gelded? I know when buying anything it’s caveat emptor. What’s the general opinion?

not compulsory to be gelded, but perhaps presented a certain no. of times and then not graded?
Just because they're not graded shouldn't mean they have to be gelded!
