Regumate shortage

It's kept my mare sane so really worried.
Vets say its in France and hoping for next week but who knows.

I didn't know about this but have some of a large bottle left from a mare's pregnancy this year (opened in April 2021) that I won't need so if anyone is going to run out, can't get hold of any more and wants to use mine up please let me know and you can have it (if you want to collect from Cheshire). :)

I’ve got enough for now but have been keeping an eye. Hopefully it’s not going to be an ongoing problem!

ooh blimey i wouldn't spay mine who also responds well to regumate, as no surgery is without risk. Has your vet mentioned the improvac injection OP? might that be an option? i think that's also not without issues but they seem to be very short lived in general.

Mine is unmedicated at the mo but will be back on around September time so hoping the supply issues are resolved by then :eek:

My vet is telling me this - I have seen some available online though so will be asking for a prescription if they can’t supply when I run out.

Friend mine used to have a prescription for porcine regumate. Much cheaper apparently and the same drug ) although a different dosage)
