I have 2 hard to fit wide, flat backed horses, one with kissing spines, who I’ve not been able to find a saddle to fit properly, and the other has limb lameness and is extremely sensitive.
I’ve been through several local saddle fitters with no success, can anyone recommend a really good saddle fitter who enjoys this kind of challenge and who is really good and gets it exactly right, as neither horse will tolerate good enough which is all I’ve found so far.
I need someone who covers west Shropshire.

I have a WOW on a wide pony. She has no shoulders, a forward girth groove and is croup high. She also has touching spinal processes around T18

I got wide panels made to 15.5" with a 16" seat and a girth arrangement which brings the fore strap forward to accommodate her girth groove.

No idea on fitters in your area but might be worth thinking about.

We tried a Wow twice, and on the second try unfortunately the horse decided he didn’t like it, and the fit was still not great to be honest, even with the right tree shape it was lifting at the back as not flat enough. I think as well they are very marmite and personally I wouldn’t want to ride in one often.

You do need a good fitter - although that's probably the same with any challenging shaped horse.
