Remedial Farriers in Leicestershire/Loughborough Area??

Hi, Im taking my horse to uni with me in Septemeber and am looking for a decent remedial farrier based in the loughborough area (the uni is in Sutton Bonnington) if anybody knows of one and could give me a reccomendation?

Matthew Bocock is excellent,really cares about the whole foot and will always come back out if there are any problems.He is from your neck of the woods.

Hi, the area has quite a few excellent farriers who do remedial work. Martin Deacon does weekly clinics at both Chine House vet hospital and Oakham vets if you need specialist help.
Otherwise Phil Humpries is not only very experienced but a great farrier if you can get him. He's based near by at Gotham and has trained quite a few of the younger generation farriers.
If you register with a local vet, they'll be able to help you with a list of remedial farriers.

Enjoy you time at SB, its a lovely uni and a beautiful village. You're also near to a network of endless bridleways and equestrian facilities.
