Cannot for the life of me remember the name of the shoeing methods for a pigeon toed horse?? when the toes are shod sort of squared off ??

And the stringhalt shoeing methods , i think its for stringhalt , when the shoes overlap the hind heels a bit , leaving a small amount of shoe visible after the hoof ???

any help be great , its bugging me !!

thanks xx

squared off at the toe? Rolled toes looked a bit squared off?

Stringhalt shoeing methods? I've never heard of shoes for stringhalt. the shoe you describe sounds like it would give more support to a collapsed heel, but stringhalt is more a neurological condition which as yet I don't think any sort of cure/diagnosis has been found...?
anyone with more info on this?

There is no shoeing method for stringhalt. What you have described is just good shoing with a bit of length and width (ie heel support)

And slightly squared toes? you either mean rolled toes or natural balance? Again there isnt really a shoeing method for a pigeon toed horse.

Otherwise you would just ofset the clip and give it some lenght on the outside
