Please note admin - TYPING THIS OUT FOR THE SECOND TIME BECAUSE THE FORUM KEEPS LOGGING ME OUT AFTER I HAVE LOGGED IN.

I was gasping to tell everyone about the potential good news earlier on in the week, but couldn't because it would have been jinxed and the world would have ended. Seriously.

Well now I can tell :D

It was to do with my youngster Krypto who I had up for sale. I advertised him on H&H last Tuesday before last, and heard nothing. So last Saturday I advertised him on Horsemart and within 5 mins of the advert going live I had my first call and 20 mins later I had my second!

Due to being on call I couldn't see anyone last Sunday, so the first lady came (thankfully just before I became poorly) and put an offer in for the full asking price subject to vetting.

Had him vetted on Friday morning and he passed :D She picked him yesterday morning. I was a little worried as to what he would make of a trailer as he had previously only been in boxes, but like the sweetheart he is, he walked on after 5 mins.

She is going to keep in touch and send me updates :)

Such a strange market to be selling a horse in. It took 6 months for me to sell my 14.2 connemara x tb 6 year old mare, and ended up going to a dealer (albeit a nice one) and just about a week and a half to sell my 3 1/2 year old unbacked/unbroken ID x Warmblood gelding!

So I am now back to being a one horse owner, and I ahve to say, I am quite happy about it. It is now just me and The Gay One :D

Well done on your quick sale :).

So, now you're loaded :p after selling all those horses, what you going to splash out on ....... a new horse :D:D

PMSL!!!

The money hasn't gone to me, it has gone to my OH so definitely no new horse!

Very much looking forward to getting back time with Bailey. I am riding my friend's cob at least 2 times a week so am keeping my hand in. He is fab to ride too and is brilliant for my development. My seat and position has improved a 100% and my canter (which for some reason I had a block about) has come on in leaps and bounds - my YO knows when I am in the indoor school because I am squealing like a banshee when Abbs opens up in canter! :D

After a stressful 6 months or so, it is so good to just be enjoying riding again, or playing with Bailey without thinking, "I've got to do this/that to try and increase chances of a sale etc." Makes a big difference.
