This is only just the start lol, she came in from her training run in the forest with more loose tufts plus I can feel on her shoulders its about ready to come out

Ah well she`ll be nekkid in a couple of weeks

Do you not find it soooo satisfying though??

I used to love grooming the double coated breeds, found it so satisfying when there was a mound of hair on the floor after

Although it peed me off that their owners couldn't be @rsed to do it

Most of them weren't even in for a grooming, I just felt sorry for the poor beggars in the heat of summer!

She is soooo pretty, that's why you chose her

That and pure lunacy anyway!!

Therein lies the advantage of the short-coated husky cross, although she's shed constantly since she arrived and I'm beginning to worry she'll shed year-round instead of just twice.

There's a Youtube vid of someone brushing their two huskies and then making a dog-hair angel in it on their kitchen floor.

Oh yes it is so so satisfying and especially when you see how nice they look with all those tufts out, she loves it also if I stop she bats me one with her paw lol lol
Diablo was sitting to my left the entire time I was doing it giving his paw wanting me to do him, his coat is all gone at the moment so I gave him a once over just so he didnt feel left out lol

My arms always end up hurting

Hen, me too, pet peeve of mine, I have been known, when walking past a GSD with those bloody tufts hanging out all over, to cough **ahem...brushyourdog...ahem**

Bless him

It is so annoying when they have one or two tufts, so you just pull them out with you fingers, but in doing so more appear and you end up there for 3 hours raking the bleedin' dog out!

I'll stick with my nice single-coated teflon Springer thanks

What I love with her isif you get close enough you can see where the coat has been brushed out and where it hasnt, I know what you mean about the tufts getting bigger she had a tiny tuft on her side and one just above her tail both no bigger than a £5 note and thats what it turned into lol

I remember years ago sis collected it all for a year or so and some local WI lady span it for her and she had my mum knit a small cardigan, it was so soft as wool but as it was short the cardigan itself shed hairs!!!!

She did say she would have another go but never did, I think it's in a bag somewhere!!!!

Well at least they only do it now and again and don't drop all the time!
