I'm looking for recommendations for a new skull hat with removable liners. I get really sweaty head when riding (menopause doesn't help ?). I'm quite petite so don't want to look like I've got a lollipop head. Thanks

I think a lot of them have removable liners now, so it really depends on what shape your skull is. I have a Gatehouse RXC1. (And the liner is well overdue a wash. I remember every time I put it on and catch a whiff, but then completely forget.)

Thanks. I was looking at the RXC1 but struggling to fine one in my size. Ive currently got a very smelly Charles Owen pro 2. The new ones do have removable headbands. Does the whole liner come out of the RXC1?

I had an rxc before they discontinued them and the liner on that is a billion times better than the CO pro 2 plus. I hate the liner in that. It bunches up if you aren't really careful about putting it on and it gives me a headache. ☹️

I go straight to the work from riding in a morning and was getting stinky sweaty hat hair  I bought a couple of cycle helmet liners, thin enough to wear under my normal skull cap and less than £5 on ebay. Work well for me. Just have to watch where I put the seams on one of them or else i end up with a line across my forehead that takes a couple hours to go :D

Thanks for the info. Definitely don't want one that bunches up. It's crazy as my brother rides motorbikes, the helmets are so much cheaper and the whole of the liner comes out. Think I'm going to get searching for the rxc

That's a great idea. I'll have a look on eBay. Thanks for the tip about the seam. That's could result in some very strange looks ??
