Removing the partition in a IW HB505

Just wondered if anyone has done this themselves. My full width bracing bars arrived and today I had a quick look to see how to remove the partition.
The moveable front and back bits look easy enough to get off, just a case of undoing a nut and bolt but I wasn't so sure about the main vertical bar they attach to. I can see there is a nut up the top by the roof to undo but what about where it attaches on the floor? Do I need to life the matting and undo something on the floor? I didn't get as far as looking as it was peeing down and blowing a gale.

I can ring IW in the morning if no-one knows

We have a 505 (older style) and our partition just lifts straight by pulling down the catches that on a spring (difficult to explain) at the front and back of the partition. There were no bolts involved.
Our trailer already had a full length breast bar when we brought it so can’t help with that I’m afraid.

It is fairly simple to do.The top bolt that goes to the roof SHOULD be fixed with a spring clip and once this has been removed it should just lift out from the floor.

Cool, so I don't have to fafth with the flooring? That would be good!

Yes just lift out of floor and keep the clip/pin thing from the roof safely...... OH has lost mine

I'm easily able to remove the partitions in my Ifor Williams 505 on my own

Ours came out easily but it would give you a hernia trying to do it on your own - but it is about a 1994 model so the more modern ones might be lighter
