Can you remove all the partition on an Ifor 505? my loan horse won't travel with company and likes as much space as possible. We have taken out the back part of the partition and he travels like a bananna but I wondered if would be possible to remove the rest and use a single breast bar. I think he would be more relaxed diagonally.

We have done this with a 510. As you say you would have to get a full width breast bar, think we paid around £40 from an Ifor dealer, they may be more now as that was several years ago. We travel Murph cross tied and he is far happier, he used to struggle to balance with the partition in.

I never use my partition (510). You really should also use a full length breach bar as well as breast bar. There was a horrible accident a while ago when a Horse fell out the back of one on a motorway - no full length breach bar was being used. The ramp isn't designed to hold the weight of a Horse leaning on it. Mine much prefers the extra room - most Horses do. I also cross tie him.

Fab thanks, got the breech bar already. just wasnt sure if the pole to the ceiling was structural.
be much easier to tack up!
