Sorry its a horsebox thread again :(:(:D
Hubby who isnt mechanically minded has already said no but just wanted to ask if these are any good as a horsebox?
Thanks and promise I will try not to post any more horsebox threads :eek:

I've got one, it's a 1998, converted 2001 and I've had it since 2002. I think it's great, it's never given me any more than the usual sort of problems, is lovely to drive and gives the horses a comfortable ride. And there is no rust on it either (I think this is one of the arguments against them from some people).

Thanks, is it much more expensive for parts?
what year if its after around 2000 its got the same cab as a daf lf with a renualt engine and chassis the older ones are all renault im not keen on them they do go ok but they can be hard to work on and s/h parts are hard to find as they arnt as common as say a leyland daf or iveco eurocargo...i would avoid unless its realy nice or cheap..

Thanks, its a 96/7 :( but looks nice and seems reasonable. May be a bit big for me, cant tell from the pic.
