Anybody tried renegade boots , my mare has low heels and most boots are not suitable, they are expensive so don't want to buy just on the off chance, she can't be shod as she has navicular and it makes her lame while Barefoot she is sound but can't cope with hard surfaces. Any information appreciated.

I have them and previously used them on a navicular whilst transitioning. I love them. Easy to fit and wear well. I gave had no problem with slipping but I have read on one forum they can be slippy. Well worth the money I think. Good luck

I love mine, use them on all surfaces and in all paces. Have never come off or rubbed or slipped on any surface even on wet grass! perfect really.
go to the hoofbootique, you can hire them there to try before you buy, as you said there are expensive but I think well worth it!

Never used them as they don't go small enough, but I do know they're one of the boots you can add small studs to if you're worried about slipping.

I've just measured my pony and she is 128mm wide which is just slightly wider than the 2 size which is 127mm but the length seems to be well off measured only 110mm - am I measuring wrong or is this just another pair of boots that her feet are going to be the wrong size for??

Post a picture of the sole and someone will be able to tell from that.
