Renegade hoof boots

People who are familiar with Renegade hoof boots, what's the practical difference between classic ones and vipers? I've used classic in past and they were fine but don't fit new pony so need to invest into new pair...

I use Vipers which I think have a different heel captivator and as a result are a bit lighter. They also have a far better size range. I looked at the classic but nothing fitted my pony as the sizes seemed quite limited.

There are differences in shapes and sizes plus a slightly different look.
