just asking if you guys know anything about something to help with indigestion type things in horses....my horse cribs, never gets colic *touch wood* but does seem to grunt a bit and my mum mentioned he may get a bit of indigestion?

are there any supplements to help with this?

**btw we have tried stopping him cribbing, shouting/ignoring/ lots of turnout/lots of hay/anti crib gels/anti crib sprays / hair gel on door and allsorts of strange things including perm lotion on his door

There are several things you could use - but be aware that gulping air (mine makes a strange grunting sound when he does it) is a symptom of ulcers, and nothing over the counter will cure ulcers, though some will prevent them.

Coligone may help, neighlox is the only clinically trialled supplement and assuming he eats it is what my horse will be going on, others include acid ease/pro soothe (same stuff, diff name depending on whether sold through vets or not), ulcer gard etc etc. There are loads, but as I say only neighlox has been clinically trialled and proven to help.
